Transforming the open-air industrial setting of Eastern Market Shed 5 in Detroit, Michigan into a cozy winter lodge, this design balanced rustic charm with elevated details. Inspired by the client’s logo, a custom plaid graphic was woven throughout the environment, reinforcing the warm, seasonal aesthetic. Pergolas paired with bar-height wood tables introduced natural texture and structure, while an LED fireplace created a welcoming focal point and added to the overall ambiance. Layered brass lighting elements brought a touch of luxury to the space, casting a warm glow that softened the industrial architecture and completed the inviting winter retreat atmosphere.
